- What happens if it rains or snows?
This event will happen rain or shine, Colorado weather changes quickly so be sure to bring layers or a jacket!
- What if I purchase a ticket and then something comes up and I can’t attend, can I return my ticket for refund?
Tickets are non refundable.
- Where can I purchase a ticket in advance?
Tickets are available to purchase online from our web site and Brown Paper Tickets, an online ticket outlet. If you’re in town, stop by the Steamboat Springs Visitor’s Center or All that Jazz. They will accept cash or check for advance tickets. Buy your tickets early because the price goes up $5 on the day of the event!
- Can I bring my dog to the Brewers’ Festival?
No, unfortunately, we can’t have any dogs at the event.
- Can I smoke at the Brewers’ Festival?
As of July 2005, it is against City of Steamboat Springs city code to smoke at an open public event. We ask that everyone refrain from smoking.
- Can I bring my kids?
Sure! We want this to be a family event so bring them along. There will be live music for everyone to enjoy and a root beer bar for kids. Admission for kids is free!
- Where do I park?
There are plans to redevelop Ski Time Square this summer. To avoid the construction, park in the parking structure in front of the Sheraton which is accessed from Mt. Werner Road next to the Transit Center. There is also parking at the Knoll Lot next to the Steamboat Grand. We highly recommend the public bus or arranging a taxi trip home. Please click here to view the free public bus schedule.
- Where should I stay?
Our Official Lodging Sponsor is ResortQuest. They are offering a special priced lodging package for the Steamboat Brewers’ Festival. Please click here to learn more about their weekend package.
You can also call Steamboat Central Reservations at 877-754-2269 or www.steamboatsummer.com to learn about other lodging options. The main lodging areas are downtown, on the mountain and on Highway 40 which is between the town and mountain. Staying up on the mountain will give the opportunity to walk back to your hotel or condo instead of having to find transportation home.
- What forms of payment do you accept?
For online ticket purchases we accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express. At our ticket outlets you can purchase advance ticket using cash or check. All that Jazz charges a $2.00 fee if you want to use a credit card for ticket purchases. At the event, we will only accept cash or check for admission tickets and additional tokens.
- Do you need volunteers?
We need responsible volunteers! It's really fun to pour and be a part of the festival action, and when the festival clean up is over, the volunteers get to drink some of the remaining beers. There is also a free t-shirt in it for you. Volunteers must be at least 21 and are NOT permitted to drink during the hours of the fest. The MANDATORY meeting for ALL volunteers is at 12:30 a.m. SHARP on the day of the fest
- Can I bring bottles into the beer festival?
One sealed (must be UNOPENED) store bought water bottle per person (up to 32 oz) will be permitted on Festival grounds. We will also have water available at the event for free. We will not allow any alcohol (flasks or bottles) to be brought into the event.
- Are you accepting any vendors for the Steamboat Brewers’ Festival?
Yes, if you’re interested in vending at the Steamboat Brewers’ Festival, we’re looking for you! We want food vendors and will accept retail vendors as well. To keep our vendors busy and ensure they have a busy day, we will only accept three food vendors at this event. We're looking for a nice variety of food options for our patrons. All food vendor applications will be reviewed and will need to be accepted by the festival organzier to guarantee a spot. Please download and fill out the vendor application form to secure your vending exclusive now. Application deadline is Wednesday, September 10, 2008 and can close earlier if we reach our goal of three food vendors.
